In July Representative Phil Hinkle from the Indiana House of Representatives was a special guest speaker at the Broadripple Brew and Pub. He was there to honor certain special individuals within the racquetball community.
Ryan Griffin and Adam Taylor were feted with a legislative proclamation for their outstanding performance in the winning of 4 consecutive open doubles racquetball State Championships, and their outstanding contributions to the game. Mike Arnolt was honored with a legislative proclamation celebrating his 65th birthday and his impact on the community. None of these individuals were aware that they were to be so honored, and hence were completely surprised by the presentation. There were more than 25 friends, associates, and racquetballers in attendance to make this a special occasion for them.
