Hello Indiana Racquetball Friends and Family!
It has been my honor and privilege to serve you as President of the INSRA Board. At the conclusion of my term in 2020, I will be stepping down from INSRA and transitioning my responsibilities to the next leader ready to carry the torch forward!
I could not be prouder of what this administration and board has accomplished over the past two and a half years. Did you know that…
- the number of players participating in an INSRA sponsored event for the first time or since before 2017 has increased by 15%?
- while costs have increased, your registration fees for large events have remained relatively flat?
- average annual revenue for INSRA has increased by almost 95% with flat pricing and minimal sponsorship funding?
- the cost structure for executing large events has improved by 75% through effective procurement and supply chain management?
In addition to the above, the list of INSRA’s internal achievements is equally impressive and much too long to include here in its entirety. Suffice to say that our operating foundation is solid and ready for the next leader to build upon unencumbered. The USAR will be featuring INSRAs turnaround story in their next “State of the States” communication so more details on what we did and how we did it will be forthcoming shortly.
INSRA will be kicking off their annual election process shortly. If you’re interested in joining the INSRA Board and continuing to grow the sport in Indiana and beyond, please reach out to Mike Pace at [email protected]. We’d love to have you on the team!
And finally, while I am stepping down from INSRA, I expect to remain actively involved in racquetball in the future! I look forward to seeing all of you at future events and to supporting this great sport in other ways. Thank you to my fellow board members who have worked tirelessly to help us get where we are today. And a sincere “Thank You” to all of you – our players, friends, and families – that have participated in, supported, volunteered for, or otherwise contributed to an INSRA sponsored event. You ARE Indiana racquetball and I am grateful to each of you for allowing me the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way to the sport we all love!
